Steal This Film II Released

steal this film II

Steal This Film II has finally been released and of course its available for free. The League of Noble Peers announced that the film is intended to ‘bring new people into the leagues of those now prepared to think ‘after intellectual property’, think creatively about the future of distribution, production and creativity’. Steal This Film 1 was a huge success with nearly 3 million downloads and I think the second one will double the amount of downloads. The film features people from the BitTorrent community such as Erik from mininova and Brokep from ThePirateBay.org. Also, Dan Glickman from the MPAA makes a short appearance stating that the MPAA will never be able to stop piracy. You can download the film at the following link below:

PGMfuzz Released

Varun Uppal and Andy Davis have released PGMfuzz which is for identifying vulnerabilities within PGM option parsing implementations. PGM is a reliable multicast transport protocol developed by a group of vendors including Cisco and TIBCO and described in RFC3208. The protocol is used in various messaging and middleware products, including TIBCO’s Rendezvous and SmartPGM FX. The IRM research team has found numerous PGM related flaws within TIBCO products.
