Own A Piece Of Reddit to Help Cure Cancer

Hosted by imgPire.com

The Reddit co-founders, Steve Huffman and Alexis Ohanian, sold their company to Conde Nast at the end of 2006 for an undisclosed amount. Now they’re placing two Apple G4 Powerbooks (12″ & 15″) which were used to start Reddit at this eBay auction. All of the proceeds are going to the American Brain Tumor Association.

**Luck not included**

Owning these laptops will of course do nothing to guarantee the success (or failure) of your web 2.0 startup; it just seemed like a nice pitch. Please hurry and bid before we fall even further into Internet obscurity!!!

The laptops come with all those Reddit alien stickers which Alex designed and the palm imprints of the founders themselves. The bidding is starting at $300 + $60 shipping and handling.

Warren Buffet - The Early Years..

On the Berkshire Hathaway site they offer links to see Warren Buffett’s thoughts in the shareholder letters dating back to 1977. But what about the early years during Warren Buffett’s partnerships? Below is a link to the partnership letters starting at 1959. I would check them out before they disappear! All of them are defiantly good reads.

Internet Radio Day of Silence

help save internet radio

There are drastic changes which are going to be happening to internet radio licensing. May 8th, 2007 is a Day of Silence so that internet radio broadcasters can make a statement against these changes. Below is from SaveNetRadio.org:

“The future of Internet radio is in immediate danger. Royalty rates for webcasters have been drastically increased by a recent ruling and are due to go into effect on May 15 (retroactive to Jan 1, 2006!). If the increased rates remain unchanged, the majority of webcasters will go bankrupt and silent on this date. Internet radio needs your help! The Internet Radio Equality Act has just been introduced by Representatives Jay Inslee (D-WA) and Donald Manzullo (R-IL ) to save the Internet radio industry. Please call your congressperson to ask them to co-sponsor this bill by clicking below.”

Please, join us as we stand up against these changes. Visit savenetradio.org and help the cause!
